The Culinary Heart & Spatial Flow The kitchen was entirely reconceived as a functional masterpiece. We integrated professional-grade appliances behind custom-milled cabinetry, ensuring the tech remained "invisible" to the aesthetic. The layout was reoriented to prioritize flow, turning the kitchen into a light-filled bridge between the interior living spaces and the new outdoor terrace.
Artisan Tiling & Materiality The project’s character is defined by its meticulous tiling details. ENS Builders sourced and installed hand-clipped zellige and geometric stone motifs throughout the baths and kitchen. Nero personally supervised the layout of these patterns to ensure a "perfectly imperfect" handmade feel that honors the North African inspiration.
The Hillside Pool & Engineering The technical centerpiece was the installation of a new swimming pool on a sharply sloped lot with highly volatile expansive clay soil. To maintain the project's vibe without sacrificing structural safety, ENS Builders utilized a deep-piled foundation system to anchor the structure into stable strata. The pool was then finished in custom-tinted plaster and stone coping to match the home’s specific architectural palette.
Vintage Detail Meets Modern Tech A hallmark of this remodel is the "Invisible Update." We integrated 2026 smart-home systems—including hidden climate controls and automated lighting—concealed behind period-correct brass switchplates and restored vintage fixtures. The result is a home that operates with modern efficiency but retains the patina of an historic estate.
